We’re getting married!

Our story began in a way neither of us expected, with a simple message in a Twitter DM. What started as a conversation quickly turned into a friendship that felt effortless. For a long while, we were just that, friends; sharing conversations, drinks and countless memories, building a bond without even realizing where it might lead. Over time, the friendship grew into something deeper and we both felt it was time to take a leap. That leap took us to Colorado on our first trip together. Somewhere between the mountains and the flight home, we made it official. In true 2020 fashion, we were wearing masks, but that didn’t stop the moment from being perfect. We sealed it with a kiss through the mask (and eventually a real one). What started as a message turned into a friendship, and that friendship turned into a love we thank God for every day. We truly believe this journey was written with intention, and we're so excited to continue the story He began, together.

After buying their first home together, they both knew it wasn't quite the one .. at least not yet but Angel had a plan. He promised to make a few changes and assured Alexa she would love it. All he asked for was one thing: trust ... and a little patience. For an entire month, Alexa stayed away from the house while Angel worked behind the scenes, transforming it while she focused on studying and preparing for an important milestone in her career. One month later, Angel was ready to reveal the surprise. Alexa arrived blindfolded, thinking she was simply there to see the updates to their new home. With the help of a close friend capturing the moment, Angel guided her through each space, removing the blindfolded one room at a time. In every room, he shared a few heartfelt words. each one more meaningful that the last. Finally, they made their way to the backyard, still blindfolded, Alexa listened as Angel began reading his final words. Halfway through, his voice changed talking about forever, about life, and about wanting to spend it all with her. Music began to play, emotions took over, and when the blindfold came off, Alexa found Angel on one Knee, holding a ring. Overcome with shock, joy, and happy tears, Alexa said yes (or we wouldn't be here). They celebrated the night surrounded by friends and family, grateful for a moment that was thoughtful and perfectly them, a proposal they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
