How do I Rsvp for the Wedding?

In order to confirm your attendance at our wedding, please complete the form by copying and pasting the link below into your browser. Additionally, make a $50 per person room deposit with our Just Book It Travel Destination wedding coordinators. Do I have to book with Just Book It Travel?

Answer

To RSVP for our wedding and confirm attendance to our wedding events, please book through our website's booking page and only use Just Book It Travel for all travel arrangements. They handle our guest list, room block, and logistics, ensuring organization and updates. You'll get our group discount, concierge-level service, and flexible payment plans. Using this local agency is more convenient and reliable than online travel companies.

Can I book my travel on my own?

Answer

We DO NOT recommend booking through a third party site. If you decide to book outside of our Travel Agent she/we are not responsible nor can assist in any cancellations/ changes, etc. that may occur with your reservation. You may book your flight separately (if you have flight miles/points, etc.) however ALL room reservations must be done through our provided Travel Agent. Again, all room bookings made outside of our designated travel agent will result in a $100-200 fee PER PERSON that is to be paid before attending the wedding. This is to ensure the resort has an accurate number of guests for our weekend.

Can I stay at a different resort?

Answer

We do not recommend it for a few reasons: 1) We are planning events at Dreams Playa Mujeres before the wedding that we would like you to be part of. In order to participate in these events, we are requesting that you book accommodations onsite via the hotel room block. 2) If you choose to stay offsite, you will need to pay a fee (per person) for each day that you'd like to access our resort. 3) It will allow us all to spend more time together! Please note: Dreams Playa Mujeres is a family-friendly resort, however, all guests will have full access to an Adults-Only sister property, Secrets Playa Mujeres, right next door.

You will be missed! If you are unable to join the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Decline" so that we can plan accordingly.

What are the suggested travel dates?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held on February 28, 2026. However, we want nothing more than for our friends and family to enjoy a VACATION. To maximize your vacation time, enjoy excursions, the wedding, and all of the amenities offered in your all-inclusive package, we recommend the following date range: February 26 – March 2, 2026 (The resort has a 3-night minimum stay requirement.) Please feel free to arrive as early in advance as you'd like and stay at the resort for as long as you'd like. Group rates are valid for up to seven nights stay based on availability at the time of reservation. If you'd like to stay even longer, please inquire with Just Book It Travel Destination Weddings on availability / rates for extended stays.

We absolutely love your little ones, but we kindly request receiving approval first.

What activities are available for kids at the resort?

Answer

The resort offers a variety of activities for children, ensuring they have a fun and memorable stay. The Explorer’s Club is designed for kids ages 3-12 and includes a splash park, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, sandcastle contests, and a movie zone. It’s open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Is there a space for teens to hang out?

Answer

Yes, the resort provides the Core Zone Teens Club for ages 13-17. This exclusive space offers daily activities, exciting sports, video games, and mixers tailored for teenagers. The club is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., giving teens a place to create their own adventure.

What If I'm unsure of my exact travel dates, but I'm ready to RSVP by booking my room?

Answer

Reservations can be modified without penalty up until the final balance due date of October 10, 2025. If you are unsure of your travel dates, it is recommended that you book your room for the longer length of stay and then reduce your stay prior to the final balance due date. This way, you would have confirmed all potential room nights (since availability is subject to change) and can modify your travel dates once flights are booked without penalty prior to the final balance due date. What If my travel companion is TBD, unknown at this time, or not ready to book?

Answer

Book without them and add them to your reservation at a later time. Since prices and availability are subject to change, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are sometimes higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you'll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.

What is the payment schedule?

Answer

A $50 per guest deposit is required to confirm guest's attendance / RSVP. Partial payments are optional. All guests will be automatically setup on a monthly payment schedule until the remaining balance is paid. Monthly payments are completely optional, and the reminders are for your convenience and flexibility only. Payments are never auto-drafted. The final balance is due anytime before October 10, 2025. All payments are non-refundable after the Final Balance Due Date. All refunds would be via travel protection claim if purchased.

Do I have the option to purchase travel protection?

Answer

Yes, and it’s highly recommended! Travel protection safeguards your investment from unforeseen events before or during your trip. - Ideally, purchase travel protection when you make your deposit, but you can still add it within 10 days of booking. - You can also choose independent coverage from any trusted provider. - Remember, after the final balance due date, cancellation fees are non-refundable unless covered by your travel protection plan. Just Book It Travel offers two travel insurance options for your convenience. *The insurance policy covers full cancellations only. Partial cancellations are non-refundable (following the final balance due date) and are not covered by this policy unless guests have commenced travel (Ex. the departure flight has taken off for travel). What is the Cancellation Policy?

Answer

You have 10 days from your reservation date to purchase travel protection insurance. After October 10, 2025, all payments are non-refundable, and cancellations will incur a 100% penalty. For any refunds, you must contact your travel protection provider. Travel protection covers full trip cancellations only; any reduction in room nights or occupancy after October 10, 2025, is non-refundable. Examples: - Before October 10, 2025: If you cancel before this date, only $50 of the deposit is non-refundable. All other payments will be refunded (with travel protection, even the deposit is refunded). - On or After October 10, 2025: All payments are non-refundable. File a claim with your travel protection provider for any potential refunds.

What is the Check-In Time?

Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Rooms are generally not available until then. If you arrive before 3:00 pm, you can use all of the amenities, pools, and restaurants, and the hotel will let you know when your room is ready. We suggest guests travel with beach clothes in their carry-on bags to enjoy their travel day immediately upon arrival.

Absolutely! As long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. For your convenience, we have pre-selected the most popular rooms on our wedding website's booking pages. If you wish to book a different room type, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form under the option "Other Room Type - Special Request". Just Book It Travel will contact you with pricing, availability and next steps.

What is the best way to find good flight deals?

Answer

We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change. Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip?

Answer

Passports are not required UNTIL guest travel. As long as you provide the hotel with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance by RSVPing. Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks - we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility." If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors (in the Central Garden—not on the beach), contingent upon weather. In the case of rain, we will move the event indoors

Which airport should I arrive/depart?

Answer

You should fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

How do I arrange Ground Transportation from the airport to the resort? and vice versa?

Answer

Both shared and private round-trip transportation options will be provided to the group 60 days before travel. This is an optional service and guests have the right to secure transportation separately.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

During the 30-minute unplugged wedding ceremony, we are asking that guests refrain from taking photos or videos. However, guests are more than welcome to take photos and videos before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and during the reception.

Many do. Yes! Just be aware of this when you’re going to eat, there is nothing worse than getting ready to sit down for dinner and they tell you there is a dress code and you have to go change before they will seat you.
