You guys know the saying “there”s his side, my side and then there’s the truth!” Teron likes to believe “I” made the first move because I complimented him on how well dressed he was when we first met. I believe “he” made the first move when he asked for my phone number after a quick exchange of getting to know each other amidst a jammed packed jazz concert at Chene Park! We stood and talked as if no one else was there but the two of us💕 Every week we would stand in our usual spot at Chene Park enjoying jazz and each other’s company for the remainder of the summer. Teron would walk me to my car after each concert. He was and still is the perfect gentleman! Soon after…we began to talk on the phone everyday for “hours” like teenagers! We talked about everything from scriptures to politics. I truly enjoyed talking with him. After a year or so of taking our time in getting to know each other; I met his loving family! Shortly after, Teron invited me to church where we began to praise and worship together. I knew then he was a keeper! On April 21, 2019, Teron proposed to me during church service amongst family and friends!! Unbeknownst to me…he called my Daughter & Brother the night before to ask for their permission (I told you guys…he’s a true gentleman😉). Who knew our love for jazz would result in our love for one another?! We are beyond thankful for each other and are looking forward to enjoying life together!!
