What Is A Nuptial Mass?

Answer

A Nuptial Mass is a Catholic Mass which includes the celebration of the sacrament of marriage. The first half, called the Liturgy of the Word, includes introductory prayers, readings from Scripture, and a homily, or reflection, from the priest. After the homily, the couple will exchange vows and wedding rings as part of the Rite of Marriage. The second half, called the Liturgy of the Eucharist, includes the celebration and sharing of the Body of Christ.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We will definitely try our best to accommodate, but know that we are limited on space and it may not be guaranteed. On your RSVP, it will list all members invited to the wedding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding reception is black tie optional. For Men: a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie For Women: a long evening gown, a dressy suit, or a fancy cocktail dress We ask that you also keep in mind modesty when choosing attire for the Nuptial mass.
