Why the Salisbury? Well, when Angie and Rich first started dating in 2013, Rich used to take Angie to The Salisbury as it was his fav local Green Lanes pub. Fast forward 4 years and the Glover Lovers moved into their first flat in Haringay, and The Salisbury is once again their local but now with kids in tow.
The Salisbury is a fully functioning lavish Victorian pub, designed and built in 1898-9 by John Cathles Hill. The popular pub has been used as the location for films including The Long Good Friday starring Bob Hoskins and is something of a local legend and a must-see building for any Victorian-era pub enthusiast (or mate who fancies a pint at our party).
