Meet the special people who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Cassandra Tellis

Maid of Honor

Angela and Cassandra met their freshman year of college-- one intro to psych class, weekly worship at BUPC, and countless milkshakes later, the two are still the best of friends. Cassandra has the biggest heart & the funniest jokes, she is an absolute joy to go through life with. Cassandra's favorite memory: It was the first week of our freshman year of college and Angela and I decided to meet up. It was maybe the fourth or fifth time we met and I remember being so excited to see a familiar, like-minded face on campus. I was a tad awkward, because which college freshman isn't, but Angela and her trillion-dollar smile sat with me and thus is the beginning of our friendship. I will always be grateful for this memory that is tucked away safely in my heart.

Andy Rondon

Best Man

Minaldy and Andy met randomly at their campus cafeteria hall. Their friendship skyrocketed after that and Minaldy feels very grateful for Andy’s constant support in his life. Andy's favorite memory: My favorite memory with Minaldy has to be the day we was looking at beds in Ikea. We hadn’t seen each other in such a long time. We made up for lost time by cracking jokes about his broken iPhone screen and thinking back to the times we talked in college. This memory kinda encapsulated our friendship; it’s never about the quantity of our interactions but always the quality of them. Mixed with both comedic and sentimental value.

Ninah Jaiyesimi

Bridesmaid

Ninah put her life at risk to help Angela learn how to drive... if that doesn't solidify a friendship I don't know what will! She has been a role model, big sister, and friend to Angela for many years and she is so grateful to have Ninah in her life. Ninah's favorite memory: My fondest memory is being Angela’s ‘driving chaperone’. I’m not sure how her parents, especially her mom let this happen. I was relatively a new driver myself and was asked to drive home with Angela after her evening class at my college. During those 30-45min drives, we bonded and talked about a lot of things. I saw her in a new light; mature in an impressive way, confident in herself and her surroundings. It was also during this time that I started looking at Angela as my little sister.

David Joseph

Groomsman

Every interaction between David and Minaldy consists of joyfully uplifting each other! David’s upbeat and friendly personality is one of the outstanding qualities that fuels their friendship, along with Minaldy’s admiration and respect for David. Minaldy believes if more people were like David, the world would be a much better place!

Dorcas Talyowe

Bridesmaid

Dorcas started out as Ninah's younger sister but now Angela is grateful to have her as a sister as well. She is hilarious and so much fun to be around. Angela is very grateful for their friendship. Dorcas' favorite memory: My favorite memory was August 2017. We joined Angela's family for a vacation in Cape Cod. We took time to get away from our stressful lives, we walked Chatham’s Main Street in our big floppy hats and didn’t have a care in the world, we talked about life, marriage, adulthood.

Henry Dunkelberger

Groomsman

Minaldy and Henry met on the first day of college orientation in the summer. At that point, they were incoming freshmen and were not assigned roommates for the upcoming year. However, Minaldy and Henry immediately formed a friendship during the 3 days of orientation. At the end of it, their orientation leader joked, “you two should definitely room together.” Lo and behold, they found out they would be roommates a week later, and the rest is history!

Sarah Cadet

Bridesmaid

Sarah is Angela's future sister-in-love-- Sarah's first big sister and one of Angela's first little sisters, with all of the love and none of the fighting😂. Can't wait to become family! Sarah's favorite memory: My favorite memory was making s'mores with Angela during the engagement party.

Juan Espinosa

Groomsman

Juan and Minaldy met during a summer PE program before their freshman year in high school. Funny story, a mom of a student noticed they were the only ones sitting alone in orientation and decided to pair them up and said to “be friends with each other.” That is exactly what they did. Juan's favorite memory: It’s kinda embarrassing but my favorite memory is how we first met at lunch when we didn’t know anyone and a random lady introduced us. It reminds me how far we’ve come since being those two shy kids in high school.

Olivia Sutton

Bridesmaid

Angela and Olivia met in their sophomore year dorm, made plans to get dinner as strangers, and have been inseparable ever since. From the library to the Dominican Republic to Miami to living in Boston together-- they've done it all. They will be each other's good sis, forever and always. Olivia's favorite memory: When we cried together at a spiritual retreat. To feel Angela's arms around me as I wept and Angela even crying with me solidified that she is one of the people that was destined to be in my life forever. From then on I felt I could be vulnerable with her and she always took those moments to teach me, to challenge me, to offer me a new perspective, and to call me out when I needed it. I will always be grateful to Angela for that.

Josh Jordan

Groomsman

Josh is the type of friend that everyone should have in their life! Minaldy and Josh spent a lot of late nights studying together in college and they came out with a friendship that Minaldy is very grateful for. Josh's favorite memory: One of my favorite memories with Minaldy was taking a psych course together during our senior year of college. Working on a group project together and cracking little jokes and stuff in class was always a great time. It definitely helped to keep me grounded throughout that semester and made it all that much more enjoyable. Love you bro.

Casie Snow-Hebel

Bridesmaid

Casie and Angela have know each other since they were 12 years old. Through the ups and downs of their teenage years to entering into adulthood, it's been a joy to watch each other grow into the women they are today. Angela is grateful for Casie's kind spirit which is as beautiful as her wonderful singing voice. Casie's favorite memory: my favorite memory has to be all of our late night talks laying outside on Angela's driveway. Talking about our lives and futures or just eating chicken wings. Those are some of my fondest memories that will always hold a special place in our friendship and my heart.

Isaiah Pisani

Groomsman

Isaiah and Minaldy met on their first day of freshman year of high school. Minaldy and Isaiah were inseparable throughout high school and have remained close friends ever since. The greatest gift from Minaldy’s high school experience was leaving with a lifelong friend.

Victoria Cadet

Jr. Bridesmaid

Victoria is Minaldy's middle sister and Angela's soon to be sister-in-love! Victoria's favorite memory: My favorite memory with Angela is at the engagement party when she saw everyone come forward with the roses.

Jahdynn Cadet

Jr. Bridesmaid

Jahdynn is Minaldy's youngest sister and Angela's soon to be sister-in-love! Jahdynn's favorite memory: My favorite memory was when we went to that big mall by the sea in Fort Lauderdale.

Avery and Linda Arzu

Parents of the Bride

Getting to know Minaldy and watching Ángela and Minaldy’s relationship grow has been a true joy. We have shared so many wonderful times together- football games in Boston, attending church together, trips to DC and NYC, many hikes and dinners out, bowling and tuxedo shopping, playing tennis, holidays spent together and simple times spent talking, laughing, watching TV, playing games. We are so grateful and feel extremely blessed that Angela has found such a wonderful, exceptionally caring man who loves the Lord and loves her so much. We welcome Minaldy into our family with open arms and pray that God will bless their marriage in every way, and that their union will bring glory to God.
