Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Angela Tam and Millan Chawla
Taking a longer stay in town? Here are a few of our favorite places.

Sawtelle Japantown

Los Angeles, CA

An area with endless options for food. Try our favorite tsukemen at Tsujita LA (not Annex!), grab a sando or onigiri from Nijiya market, pick up some pastries at Artelice Patisserie, or get some creme brulee crepe at Millett Crepe.

The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills

9705 South Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Angela loves cheese. This place has great cheese sandwiches and more cheese.

The Original Farmers Market

6333 West 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90036

Find an afternoon to grab lunch (we like Monsieur Marcel Bistro and Roxy & Jo's), walk around the market, and then venture to The Grove side of the mall.

Wolf & Crane Bar

366 East 2nd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Located in one of our favorite areas, Little Tokyo, this bar has a range of Japanese whiskies and craft cocktails to taste.

EightyTwo

707 East 4th Place, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Grab dinner at Wurskutche down the block and then stop by this barcade, before bar hopping your way around the Arts District area.

Hong Kong Cafe 香港茶餐廳

500 North Atlantic Boulevard, Monterey Park, CA 91754

Right by our new home in Monterey Park, Hong Kong Cafe offers a delicious taste of homey traditional Hong Kong style food. Our favorites are the won ton noodles, the pan fried rice noodle rolls, and the X.O. sauce seafood fried rice. Afterwards, head over to Hey Tea a couple storefronts down for boba.

Disneyland Park

Anaheim Resort, CA 92802

If you're getting into town a few days ahead or staying after for a couple days, look into a day at Disney! Safe to says, we've been eating our way through and trying the seasonal food here too.
