This is Angela's number one suggestion on what to do Saturday. The Maroon Bells are the most photographed mountains in North America. You have to take the RFTA bus to get there. It's about a 30 min ride and the bus drops you off a short walk to the main area. You don't have to do any hiking to view the bells! If you choose this adventure, the Bride and Groom will provide you with a bus ticket!
This is Michael's number one suggestion for Saturday. Find the Woody Creek Trail / Rio Grande Trail signs and you’re on your way to the Woody Creek Tavern, known for the frequent patron, Fear and Loathing's Hunter S. Thompson. The Rio Grande trail starts with some nice scenic views of the Roaring Forks River and shady, forest areas. It is a smooth double track, pretty wide open and suitable for serious cyclists or leisure riders. At 7 miles one way, there are a lot of nice spots for pictures. If you're feeling tipsy, take a taxi back to the hotel (taxis have bike racks).
