We had our first date in a charming Schlosspark in our city, and Angie was the only one to check the weather, bringing along an umbrella. The day started beautifully, but soon a torrential downpour hit, and we found ourselves scrambling for shelter under a bridge Marlon swore he knew about. Spoiler alert: the bridge didn’t exist! Thankfully, Angie’s umbrella became our saving grace, although Marlon stubbornly refused to share its cover. So, drenched and slightly ridiculous, we headed back into the city for a change of clothes for Marlon and to salvage the rest of our date. After dinner and a couple of bars, while Marlon stepped away for a moment, Angie texted her friends, “If this guy keeps acting like this, I’m going to fall in love with him.” Little did we know, our date would stretch on for a total of delightful 13 hours. Marlon kept being his charming self, and now, three years later, we’re overjoyed to invite you to our wedding!
