On February 16, 2018, Luvon and I met when two of our mutual friends introduced us for business reasons. Luvon, a very talented General Contractor (GC) with exceptional interior design and decorating skills, and I, a MBA graduate who enjoys assisting business owners with their social media marketing, met doing one of our favorite pass-time activities--dining out:-) As a GC daughter, the synergy was there from the start, but it didn't stop there. After working with Luvon over several months, it was clear that we had a lot in common outside of construction. We both love God, family, the arts, traveling, dining out, fashion, socializing with friends, and a good laugh, to name a few. Additionally, we are the oldest of our siblings, were raised in conservative religious homes, had two children (a boy and girl), have experienced the loss of a loved one (my son Roderick and his sister Latrise) in the same year, and have been married once before. Needless to say, our individual paths have left us longing for a love--a life partner--to finish life's journey strong together. And we found her/him:-) Like every couple, we have our challenges, but refuse to let them break us. We know and believe that love is a choice...a principle...a lifetime commitment and we are all in! If you are reading this, it is because you are part of our "village". And as a tribe member, all we ask of you is your heart-felt prayers as we begin the next leg of our life's journey as Husband and Wife, BFFs, and Lovers for Life.
