Yunta
Our favorite restaurant in Charlotte. We highly encouraged you to make a reservation if you have an extra night to spare.
Whitewater center
A little outside of the city, enjoy the world's largest manmade whitewater river with walking trails and plenty of trails to explore.
The Crunkleton
This is an upscale bar and restaurant with amazing bartenders. This was a few blocks from our condo before we moved, and we often walked down for a cocktail that often turned into more than one. Reservations are recommended even for the bar, but a small party can sometimes walk in for a drink.
Puerta
Another spot we frequently walked to for a cocktail or empanadas. A small bar/restaurant with beautiful atmosphere. This is right next to Crunkleton, across the street from Rosemont Wine Bar and Catalina, two other wonderful places.
Rosemont
Yet another spot Kyle and I loved to walk to, and still frequent even after moving to Plaza Midwood. A nice wine bar with wonderful food.
Calle Sol Latin Café & Cevicheria
Plaza Midwood is such a fun and funky Charlotte neighborhood, and Calle Sol is a staple. Great Latin inspired food, and walkable to all the bars and restaurants Charlotte has to offer.
