Things To Do

Eiffel Tower

Jardin du Luxembourg

Jardin du Luxembourg

Luxembourg Gardens is one of our favorite spots in Paris. We love spending a slow, easy day there—grabbing an espresso, a pastry (or a sandwich), and just wandering around. Between the beautiful gardens and those classic green Parisian chairs, it’s the perfect place for us to sit, relax, and people-watch for a while.

Eat lots and lots of carbs

Paris, IDF 75001, France

Visit any local boulangerie for iconic Parisian baked goods—some of our favorites are croissants, pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant), pain au raisin (Kevin’s favorite), a classic French baguette, and petite choux (Angela’s favorite). Our favorite dessert pastry is the Paris-Brest (don’t pronounce the “s” when ordering!)—it’s a hazelnut cream–filled pastry. We also love the fruit tarts. A few quick tips: always start with a “bonjour” before ordering, and try to visit small, locally owned boulangeries rather than chains or Instagram-famous spots. You can find amazing pastries for just 1–2 euros.

Visit Crepe Street

Visit Crepe Street

Rue du Montparnasse (6th arrondissement),

A whole street lined with crêpe restaurants. We recommend you check out Crêperie Le Petit Josselin, La Petite Bretonne, and Crêperie La Bigoudenne. Hot tip: pair your crêpes with cider! Go for a Cidre Brut (dry) with savory crêpes (galettes), or a Cidre Doux (sweet) with dessert crêpes.

Palace of Versailles

Palace of Versailles

Versailles, IDF 78000, France

The Palace of Versailles is a little less than an hour from Paris by train. The best way to get to Versailles from Paris is by RER C train to the Versailles Château Rive Gauche station. This is the most direct, cost-effective (around €7.10 roundtrip), and convenient method, taking roughly 30–60 minutes and ending with a short 10-minute walk to the palace. The Palace of Versailles is truly magnificent to see in person!

Place du Tertre

Place du Tertre

Place du Tertre, Paris, IDF 75018, France

One of Angela's favorite neighborhoods in Paris! I highly recommend visiting Montmartre, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Paris. Nestled near the stunning Sacré-Cœur Basilica, it feels like stepping into a real-life fairytale, with its cobblestone streets and small-town atmosphere reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast. In the heart of the area, you’ll find Place du Tertre, a lively square filled with local artists offering portraits in a variety of styles—making it the perfect place to pick a favorite and have your own portrait created as a unique souvenir.

Pharmacie Monge Notre Dame

Pharmacie Monge Notre Dame

1 Place Monge, Paris, IDF 75005, France

Visit a Pharmacie to grab French skincare products like Nuxe body oil, La Roche Posay, Vichy, Bioderma, Avene, and Caudalie! Pharmacie Monge offers the best discounts! Hot tip: always ask employees if there's an additional discount and you can get tax free so bring your passport!

Eat at a Brasserie

Try classic French foods like Escargot, Steak Frites, French Onion soup, Croque Monsieur (or Madam if you want an egg on top), boeuf bourguignon, Foie Gras, and Confit de Canard (duck leg).
