We were Facebook friends through mutual friends, although we had never met. I posted in March to ask if any of my Facebook friends would be willing to take me on a motorcycle ride when the weather got nicer. I was secretly hoping Jeff would respond, since I saw he had also been through a tough breakup the prior year. Well, to my surprise; Jeff responded that he would be happy to. So, I messaged him to thank him for offering and that it was very kind of him, especially since we didn't know each other. He said in a few weeks, there was a benefit motorcycle run the day before Easter on Saturday, April 3rd and that I could join him. I was super excited. He said to be there around 11am and to look for a tall guy in a black leather vest and a red Harley. Well, there were tons of tall guys there in leather vests and with red Harleys, lol. I started asking around until I found someone who knew Jeff and they pointed him out to me. We had an amazing day on the benefit run. Then after Easter lunch, I messaged him again to see if he might be in the area of Bertinetti where my mom lived, and if so, maybe he would take me on another ride around the lake before I had to head back to St Louis. He was just finishing putting his mom's new patio set together and said he would head over. We rode all over Taylorville that day and I don't think I ever stopped talking, come to think of it...that is my normal. So after a couple more meetups on weekends, we started dating and the rest is our love story. Thank you so much for being in our lives, we hope to see you soon.
