Haverford College Nature Trail
Ang & Jack love to walk this trail. It has a 2.2 mile Nature Trail that roughly follows the perimeter of the 216-acre campus. Jack's childhood dog Rusty once escaped the backyard and was found in the Duck Pond, along the trail, having the time of his life. Should be beautiful in September! There is also a track on the Haverford College grounds that can be used outside of school times (8-5 M-F), which Jack has run on for years.
Suburban Square
Minutes from the wedding venue, and Jack's mom's house - Suburban Square has a lot of great shopping (Rhone, New Balance, Sephora, and Angela's favorite - Free People )
Johnny's Pizza Bryn Mawr
If you are wanting a really good Pizza and Philly Cheesesteak, but don't want to drive all the way to Philly, you are in luck!! Johnny's in Bryn Mawr is consistently rated the Main Line's best cheesesteak and is a must when Angela and Jack are back in town!!
Valley Forge National Historical Park
Valley Forge National Historical Park is a 3,500-acre protected area in southeastern Pennsylvania that commemorates the winter encampment of George Washington and the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. Either hike or drive through the park for the covered bridges and views of the area - The General Anthony Wayne Statue was Mosey's favorite.
Wayne
Downtown Wayne, Pennsylvania is a walkable historic district along the Philadelphia Main Line. It features boutique shopping, and the best bars and restaurants in the area. Make sure to stop by Out There for some good shopping, and the Great American Pub for a drink across the street.
Lancaster County Farmers Market
The Lancaster County Farmers Market is a historic, indoor market located in Wayne, Pennsylvania (on the Philadelphia Main Line). Established in 1951, it operates as a cooperative featuring over 25 vendors who sell fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and specialty international foods. Every trip back home isn't complete without a trip here with the Mom. Ang loves the quiche! Make sure to stop by the Pigs in a Blanket vendor on your way out!
Philadelphia
Must-do activities include exploring Independence Hall/Liberty Bell, eating a cheesesteak at Pat's or Geno's (It's a big thing), climbing the "Rocky Steps," or wandering through the historic streets of Old City. This is a 30 minute drive from the Radnor/Devon/Wayne area, and about 20/25 minutes by train, very easily accessible.
