Are we going to be outside? UPDATE 6-9-26

Answer

UPDATE 6-9-26 Maybe, the wedding ceremony will now be held inside the greenhouse, but it is not air conditioned. If it's too hot and not raining, the ceremony will move outdoors. Cocktails and the reception will be indoors at their onsite venue and air conditioned.

How's the weather?

June in Chicago can be a wild ride. Bring layers and recheck the weather forecast *no more* than three days ahead. We can experience three seasons over two days!

Will there be transportation to the venues?

Answer

A shuttle will bring guests to Friday dinner at 4pm (Eric's friends and family) and 4:30pm (Angela's friends and family) from the Wind Creek main entrance. It will begin return trips at 9pm. The minibus will need to make 2 trips for everyone so please board at your assigned time. A bus will depart at 3pm from Wind Creek (please arrive early!) to bring you to Saturday's ceremony and return at 10pm. NOTE-this will be a large charter bus. Board on the south side of the parking garage, close to Panera, in the bus parking area. If you are not staying at the casino, you can still park there and board the bus on both days.

Is there an open bar?

Yes, Friends and Family Cocktails will exclusively feature the Dead Drop line of spirits distilled by Thornton Distilling Company. Wedding day cocktails and reception will have standard open bar offerings.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is the only gift we need. We ask that you support our minimalist goals by not purchasing a gift. Please don't feel obligated to make a monetary gift either. It's really ok, don't make it weird.

Does it matter which airport we fly into?

Answer

Midway International Airport (MDW) is much closer to us and the wedding venue, as well as downtown Chicago compared to O'Hare.

Can I bring the kids?

Answer

Your children are welcome to all events as long as they are supervised and stay cute most of the time.

We live in Homewood, a suburb about 30 miles south of Chicago.
