While this is our wedding ceremony, we are here most importantly to celebrate the greatest sacrifice in all of human history, the Blessed Sacrament. With this being said, please dress appropriately. We want everyone to feel and look their best on this day, especially in the presence of our Lord. Cocktail & formal attire will be greatly appreciated!
Our wedding ceremony will be a Traditional Latin mass, upwards of two hours long. We understand completely that this is a longer ceremony than most, but we are so grateful to have friends and family that are willing to celebrate with us. If sitting/standing for long periods of time is a health concern, please reach out to the bride or groom, and we will be happy to work out accommodations. Since you will have a longer drive to the venue, and we're sure you'll be hungry after mass, we will send you out of the church with a fully stocked snack bag as a thank you.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Cocktail hour will be hosted at the reception venue in Pierrepont Manor, NY. This will include light bites and a cash bar. Our venue is roughly 50 minutes from Transfiguration Church, but a very easy drive up I-81 N. Nonetheless, we want to thank all of our guests again for making the long drive to our venue, we promise it will be worth your while!
Please note that the cocktail hour does not begin until 4pm, as we want to give all of our guests plenty of time to drive up to the venue without having to rush. There is plenty of parking at the wedding venue, but if you are planning on drinking, please be sure to either have a designated driver, or make arrangements for a ride.
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Cash bar will end at 5pm, and the bar will be open until 10pm.
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Let's Eat! Speeches will be given once all of our guests have been served their meal.
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Let's dance! The bar will remain open until 10pm, and will be closed for the last hour of the reception.
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Although the bride will probably still be on the dance floor, we will be lighting a fire for those guests who want to wind down, have a drink, and chit-chat. We will be setting up a s'mores bar for everyone to enjoy!
