Home to house-sized boulders, a massive canyon and a waterfall that thunders into a turquoise pool, Wahclella Falls Trail brings just about everything to the table on a trail that requires just 2.2 miles. The first 0.3 miles follow an old road alongside pretty Tanner Creek, but the trail gets mossier, wilder and more beautiful by the quarter mile as canyon walls rise higher and narrower. Driving directions: Follow Interstate 84 to exit 40 and keep right, following a sign for Wahclella Falls Trail. Trailhead GPS coordinates: N45 37.840, W121 57.231

Carpool if you can! Parking fee is $5 per car. For those of you who live in town, feel free to bring camping chairs. The more, the better. There will be picnic tables. Since the vows will not be long we opted out of getting additional chairs. We will be standing on grass so feel free to be bare foot or wear flat shoes. Bring layers just in case. WE WILL EXCHANGE VOWS at 2:30pm. Afterwards, we will eat, drink & feel merry. Naturally, there will be karaoke so start thinking about what you are going to sing for us on this special day. Amazing singing voice not necessary. We just want to hear your souls sing!

Casual attire plus bathing suits for those staying the night at Edgefield Hotel
We love this place so much! The McMenamin brothers have renovated old schools, farm houses, and buildings to create eccentric spaces with cool vibes & a chill ambiance. We will all meet at or outside of the Distillery Bar: https://www.mcmenamins.com/edgefield/distillery-bar For those staying the night at hotel, our favorite is the salt water soaking pool outside. The hotel provides cozy robes for us to wander outside to soak and sip on a drink if you so desire. Golf, winery, spa, bars, restaurants, and best part - outdoor heated soaking pool!
