Stroll through where Brendan proposed to Angela! The Carnegie Museum of Art is one of our favorite Pittsburgh spots—wander through the galleries, check out Monet and Warhol, and snap a few photos before heading next door to see the dinosaurs at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History!
The Strip District
Just a few minutes from downtown, the Strip District is one of Pittsburgh’s most vibrant neighborhoods—packed with local shops, amazing food, and yinzer charm. Visit La Prima, one of our favorite coffee shops, and grab a pastry from Colangelo’s next door or a biscotti from Enrico Biscotti Co. as you explore the neighborhood!

Mount Washington
For the best view of the city, head up to Mount Washington! Ride the historic Duquesne or Monongahela Incline to the top and take in the iconic Pittsburgh skyline from Grandview Avenue. While you’re there, stop by one of our favorite spots, Bigham Tavern, for some of the best wings in the city, drinks, and a true neighborhood vibe.
Mexican War Streets
Located on Pittsburgh’s North Side, the Mexican War Streets is a charming historic neighborhood filled with colorful row houses, tree-lined streets, and local art. It’s perfect for a relaxed stroll. But, don’t forget to stop by Commonplace Coffee for a great cup of coffee while you explore!
