We Got Hitched! Come Celebrate With Us!

Alec and Angela’s “how’d you meet” story has a true Wisconsinite theme to it. Alec and his friend Mike were experiencing their first Oktoberfest in Lacrosse, and Angela was already a seasoned fester there. After a day at the fest grounds, Alec and his buddy stumbled down to a little bar called Shooters, where Angela was already a patron. Now, neither Alec nor Angela are big sports fans, however Aaron Rodgers played quite the role in their meeting. On the wall of this bar, stood a life-sized poster of the now former Packer. Angela was dancing with her friends next to this poster when Alec happened upon them. She turned to Alec and said, “hey, that’s Aaron Rodgers, hold my drink” and proceeded in grinding on that poster. When she finished with Aaron and went back to Alec for her drink, they laughed and hit it off. The remainder of that night gets a little fuzzy in typical festing fashion, but what a night it was! Skip ahead to their first date at Angela’s favorite sushi restaurant in Eau Claire, Ninja, followed by Alec trying to impress her with a totally fair game of pool at the Livery. Must have done the trick! Can’t tell their love story without the day they brought home their wonderful Bulldog, Norby! As most dogs do, he has become their first child, favoring mom of course. Slight curve ball then, as Covid hit Wisconsin and both their lives changed abruptly. Alec working at Swede’s Service in River Falls, and Angela working at Marshfield in Eau Claire, both had to leave their respected jobs, and follow Angela’s plan to move down by her parents in Muskego, near Milwaukee. New jobs for both, Ford for Alec and a traveling nurse for Angela, really settling into their little family together with Norby. Over a year they lived at the condo, at times it was definitely cramped, but their love and partnership really grew as they learned each other’s ins and outs, do’s and don’ts, like don’t leave a glass in the sink, Angela will threaten your life… They were fortunate enough to buy their first house together in 2022, outside of East Troy WI, where they live now. Countless adventures together, where Alec drives and Angela sleeps in the passenger seat, trips with family and friends over the years, plates after plates of sushi or BBQ, and nights at home on the couch with Norby, have led them to their big day in Buffalo Wyoming. They’re excited for the future, no matter what it may bring, together, forever!
