George Eastman Museum

Founded in 1947 as an independent nonprofit institution, it is the world’s oldest photography museum and one of the oldest film archives. The museum holds unparalleled collections—encompassing several million objects—in the fields of photography, cinema, and photographic and cinematographic technology, and photographically illustrated books.

Park Avenue

The neighborhood is well known for its hip-urban atmosphere, culture, unique shops and historic homes. The walkable tree-lined street spans 1¼ miles from Alexander Street to Culver Road. Notable places to visit include Jines restaurant, Stever's Candies, and Parkleigh gift shop.

Letchworth State Park

Letchworth State Park, renowned as the "Grand Canyon of the East," is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs--as high as 600 feet in some places--surrounded by lush forests. Hikers can choose among 66 miles of hiking trails.
