Tina met the bride at the University of Rhode Island through the national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. The two quickly became inseparable and still talk daily—she had a big role in planning this wedding. She is currently pursuing her MSW at New York University Silver School of Social Work.
Ganesh Kandel
Best Man
Ganesh and the groom were introduced through marital ties when Ganesh’s cousin married the groom’s sister. The two became close friends and confidants. In May of this year, Ganesh married his beautiful bride, Pabitra, in an intimate ceremony in VA. He continues to climb the corporate ladder and is always encouraging the groom to embark on the next career move.
Samantha Wheat
Bridesmaid
Sam met the bride on the first day of ninth grade at Mercy High School. Even though it’s been almost a decade since the two were locker-neighbors, it feels like no time has passed every time they link up. Their friendship is all about balance and they always manage to keep one another from going off the rails. Sam has been accepted to the MSAT program at Towson University beginning Fall 2022.
Christian Crawford
Groomsman
Christian met the groom, and later the bride, while working as a Data Tech for Scientific Games. Although all three have made significant career advancements since then, it was definitely interesting riding out the early days of the pandemic in Ops together. Christian is an entrepreneur-extraordinaire and excels in whatever he sets out to do. He’s an IT professional, tattoo artist, stock trader, lyricist, and soon-to-be groomsman.
