If you have any other questions or concerns that are not covered below, please call or text Angie at 440-454-2820 or Bob at 440-343-4952.
Question

What time will the hotel shuttle run to and from Whitehall?

Answer

The shuttles will run loops TO Whitehall between 3:45 and 4:45. I believe Taylor from Marriott will reach out to everyone with a reservation (via email) with a reminder to sign up for the shuttle during check in. The reception ends at 11:00, so unless anyone really wants to leave early, the shuttle will arrive a bit before 11:00 to begin trips back to the hotel.

Question

What does the Marriott breakfast inlcude?

Answer

Per Marriott, the complimentary breakfast will be a grab & go style (due to Covid protocols) consisting of breakfast sandwiches (microwave available to heat), muffins, bagels, cream cheese and butter, yogurt, fruit, juice, water, coffee, and tea. Breakfast will be served from 8:00-11:00 on Sunday.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code, but think dressy holiday party. You really can't overdress at this venue; Christmas red, super sparkly, anything goes! But please have fun with it; Santa and Cousin Eddie hats welcome!

Question

For guests who are nervous about attending due to Covid:

Answer

We know that this is (STILL) an unprecedented time and so several precautions are being taken to protect everyone from the risk of exposure to Covid-19 (see question below). However, if you are still feeling uncomfortable about traveling to and/or attending an indoor event at this time, PLEASE feel comfortable declining our invitation. We will completely understand that your decision not to attend has nothing to do with us and everything to do with the ongoing risk of Covid.

Question

What is being done to protect everyone from Covid?

Answer

1.) Dinner will be passed (not buffet). 2.) We will have a wristband system in place to make everyone visually aware of your personal preference regarding social distancing: GREEN means hugs and handshakes are ok, YELLOW means talking is ok, but no touching and RED means that person would prefer to keep their distance from others. We will ask all guests to wear a band and to respect the preferences of others. 3.) Angie and Bob are both vaccinated and we hope that all of our loved ones are too! 4.) Anyone who is not feeling well in the days leading up to the reception should not attend. Also, even if you are feeling healthy, if you know you have been exposed to Covid in the days leading up to the reception, please get tested before attending…or play it safe and do not attend.

Question

Are guests and/or children welcome?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, attendance at the reception will be open only to those named on the invitation.

Question

What are the entree choices for dinner?

Answer

1.) 12oz NY Strip Steak with red wine reduction, whipped potatoes and roasted seasonal vegetables 2.) Bay of Fundy Salmon with lemon beurre blanc, whipped potatoes and roasted seasonal vegetables 3.) Roasted Cauliflower Steak with citrus herb quinoa and butternut squash puree (vegan and gluten free) There will also be a salad of mixed greens, seasonal berries, goat cheese, candied walnuts and blush vinaigrette as well as warm house rolls served with whipped honey butter.

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes, Whitehall has a free, spacious parking lot -- but we recommend taking Uber or Lyft if you'll be drinking. Guests staying at the hotel will be provided free shuttle service to and from the reception. Please book by November 25th!
