Rental Car
The easiest way to travel around Ireland is via car and there is plenty of parking on-site for those guests driving to Barberstown. For those traveling from the US, beware that rental cars are typically manual so make sure to explicitly request an automatic car if you are not comfortable driving stick left-handed (there will be an upcharge, unfortunately). Be mindful you will need to be comfortable driving on the left side of the road and on narrow winding roads… and this includes meeting a tractor down a single lane road, particularly if exploring rural Ireland!
Travel Note
FreeNow and Uber are the 2 more popular apps, but our recommendation would be to book with a local taxi service in advance. We will share some local services suggested by the venue as it gets closer. You can also ask whichever hotel you are staying in to book a taxi for you. Local Airbnb hosts will also be a great resource for local taxi information.
