We’re getting married!

Jonathan and Anelise met in high school at Alonso, where they started out as close friends. During their senior year in 2019, their friendship grew even stronger. When COVID hit in 2020, they stayed connected through constant FaceTimes and Zoom calls, growing closer every day. They spent time with their friend group at Anelise’s pool, at the causeway, and on fun nights out and somewhere along the way, friendship turned into something more. On June 4, 2020, Jonathan asked Anelise to be his girlfriend on a date at Maggiano’s in Tampa. Nearly five years later, on October 18, 2025, Jonathan proposed at Honeymoon Island, surrounded by family and close friends, followed by a celebration at Brio Italian Grill. By the time they say “I do” in March 2027, they’ll have been together for almost seven years a journey that started with friendship and grew into forever.
