FAQs

Question

Parking & Shuttle Info

Answer

Street parking available at both Foreign Cinema and the Fairmont can be tricky. We recommend taking an Uber, or locating a parking garage in advance Parking garages near the Fairmont: • Brocklebank garage; 1040 Sacramento St. (typically $20/day) • Crocker garage • SF Masonic auditorium parking ($45/day) • Fairmont valet parking is $90 For Saturday: For guests staying at the Fairmont, we'll be providing a one-way shuttle to Foreign Cinema. Please meet outside of the main hotel entrance on Mason St. at 5:15pm, departure at 5:30.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Both events are cocktail attire. There will be outdoor portions of both events, and San Francisco weather is notoriously unpredictable! A layer is recommended. If you'd like to wear Indian clothes on Friday, we'd recommend shopping at: Online: houseofindya.com; kalkifashion.com; or indianweddingsaree.com In person in the Bay Area: Siya USA (1038 University Ave, Berkeley, CA); Sari Palace (1000 University Ave, Berkeley, CA)

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Friday: Yes, children are welcome. Saturday: We love the kids in our life but for this event, we kindly request that the guest list be limited to adults only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What's the easiest way to get around San Francisco?

Answer

It can be challenging and expensive to park cars in San Francisco, especially near the hotel and wedding ceremony. It's easiest to take Ubers/Lyfts/Waymos both from the airport and around the city. If you do rent a car, remember not to leave luggage/personal items in your car.
