WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Black tie wedding (tuxedos and long dresses) Other formal wear including suits, dinner jackets, cocktail dresses also welcomed and encouraged. Please no jeans, casual shirts, flip flops or work boots of any sort. The Sagamore Resort has a lot of beautiful grounds and is close to the water. Wear shoes that will allow you to explore in comfort.

How Will COVID-19 Affect the Wedding?

Answer

The only thing COVID-19 impacts with respect to our wedding is our strong recommendation for everyone to get vaccinated with the addition of the booster. As two physicians we cannot emphasize the benefits of the vaccine enough to protect our loved ones. We will not require COVID testing prior to our wedding nor are we requiring masking. This is all subject to change based on latest CDC guidelines and NY State recommendations.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We absolutely love your kids! But we want our wedding night to be your night off! This will be an adults only party so no babies and no school aged children. We understand that this may limit people's abilities to attend and fully participate in our wedding. However, at this time we are not making any exceptions to this rule.

Where Exactly is the Wedding Reception?

Answer

The wedding reception will be hosted in the tented Shelving Rock Terrace located in the back of The Sagamore Resort. This is also where the brunch will be served the next morning.
