While we love all of our friend's and family's little ones, we have decided to limit children at the wedding to immediate family only. We respectfully ask parents to plan on leaving their kiddos at home or with a sitter while we dance the night away.
It's usually pretty warm, typically mid 70's and 80's in Denver. However the venue is up in the mountains where the temperatures tend to drop pretty quickly once the sun sets, so don't forget to bring a light jacket!
The venue is right around 8300 ft, so pretty high if you're used to sea level. Most people don't really notice it though unless you go for a jog or up stairs quickly. That said, altitude sickness can be a struggle for some lowland visitors, with symptoms including headaches, sleeplessness, fatigue, loss of appetite, fast heart rate, and nausea. If you’re concerned about how the altitude might affect you, we encourage you to chat with your doctor about your options.
Drink lots of water! If you think you've had enough water, drink some more. Hand moisturizer is fantastic year round as well. Alcohol also tends to hit a little harder at altitude, so make sure to drink responsibly.
