We have reserved a block of 20, two-bedroom cabins at the Big Sur Lodge! More information to come! There are a handful of other hotels, motels, glamping resorts in the area. The beautiful city of Monterrey, 31 miles north, has abundant lodging options at a variety of price points.
Flight
San Jose International Airport
San Jose International (SJC) is about 100 miles from Big Sur, it is the closest major airport. Without traffic drive time is about two hours, however the Bay Area is known for bad traffic so please be generous with travel time. Highway 1, particularly past Monterrey, is famously beautiful and worth driving slowly. Plan to pull over and take a few pictures. Alternatively, travelers could fly to San Francisco International (SFO) or Oakland International (OAK), both airports are in the heart of the Bay Area, about 140 miles from big sur.

A general note
We decided to have our wedding in Big Sur because it's one of the most beautiful places we know and we wanted to share that beauty with our loved ones. We hope guests can plan a couple extra days to enjoy the destination. See the 'Things to Do' page for more information.
