Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

No- Our ceremony and reception are at two different locations. We will begin our ceremony at 1:30pm at Queen of Peace Church in Aurora followed by our cocktail hour/ reception at Cielo at Castle Pines. We look forward to celebrating these special moments with our guests.

Question

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

Colorado in September is known to be beautiful! Daily high temperatures decrease by 10°F, from 83°F to 73°F, rarely falling below 60°F or exceeding 91°F.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have carefully curated our guest list, and we are so excited to celebrate our special day with our family and closest friends. Plus ones are by invitation only. We ask guests to please not bring a plus one, unless it is specified on your invitation. Online RSVPs will have your name and your plus one listed. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES- We look forward to celebrating with our guests in style. Our dress code is formal attire. Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less formal than black tie. Men should wear a suit with a tie or a tuxedo. Women should opt for a floor-length gown, an elegant midi dress, or a formal pantsuit. *we kindly ask that our guest avoid wearing white or black*

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes- there will be parking for the ceremony and reception. However, we encourage guests to Uber and carpool as much as possible because parking spaces are limited.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes- if you have any allergies, we ask that you notify us when you RSVP through this site.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

If you wish to bless us with a gift, in Asian cultures, it is customary to give monetary gifts for special celebrations such as weddings and Lunar New Year (Tet). Vietnamese traditions refer to the gift of money as "li xi" or "red envelope", which symbolizes good fortune, health and prosperity. If you feel inclined, we kindly ask our friends and family for any gifts to be monetary, as they are generous wishes of luck to us as we start the next chapter of our lives. You may gift us cash on the wedding day, contribute to our cash funds on our wedding website under the "Registry" tab, or you may send it to us via Venmo to @Andy0Lopez. The last four digits of the phone number are 8908.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to our ceremony by 1pm to allow for time to get seated.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones but to keep our guest list feasible, we ask that you make accommodations for childcare unless otherwise specified on your invitation.

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes! We’re excited to offer a full open bar featuring beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks. While we’ll have plenty of delicious options, please note that shots of any kind will not be served. Spirits will be available in cocktails or served over ice. We want everyone to enjoy responsibly and keep the celebration classy and fun!

Question

Will there be a Cocktail Hour?

Answer

Yes- Cocktail Hour will begin at 4pm at Cielo at Castle Pines, where the reception will be taking place.
