Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code! Wear what you feel happy and comfortable in :) However it will be August in Nebraska and we are hoping for an outdoor ceremony, so dress for hot weather! If you wish, you can incorporate our wedding colors, which are olive green and dusty blue. :)

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you are staying in Norfolk before/after the wedding, there are a number of hotels to choose from! Some that we recommend are: Norfolk Lodge and Suites; Hampton Inn; or Holiday Inn Express. However there are many others to choose from.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 4:30, so plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before that. :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is, so please do not park on the grass :)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are having a very small intimate ceremony with only our closest friends and family, so to keep it small, please do not bring a plus one. For those with significant others, they have already been invited :)

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony! We have a wonderful photographer and request that guests not take pictures during the ceremony. If you want pictures to remember the day, please let us know and we will send you some once we receive our wedding photos.

Where are the closest airports?

Answer

The closest airports are in Omaha NE (2.5hrs), Sioux City IA (1.5hrs), and Sioux Falls SD (2.5hrs). While Norfolk does have an airport, it is very small.
