FAQs

We’ve done our best to answer any questions you might have below. If you have any other questions for us, our email addresses are: Sara.jean47@gmail.com White.andrew.e@gmail.com We are SO looking forward to seeing you!!!
Question

Will it be hot?

Answer

Yes! Early September in Tennessee is still “summertime”. We expect to have temps in the 80s or above. We will have tents over portions of the yard as well as fans blowing. Our home is open to guests during the party if they need to hang in the a/c for a bit too!

Question

Should I wear sunscreen?

Answer

Yes! As previously mentioned, we will have tents covering some parts of the yard but there will still be (hopefully) lots of sunshine! We will have a station with sunscreen available for guests but if you are sensitive to the sun, then you might want to apply some SPF beforehand too, just in case! Us gingers will be slathering it on the whole day. ;)

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

No. We love your kids but we only have so much room in our backyard, unfortunately! We curated a specific guest list that did not include kids because of this.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It is a “dressy” event but it is held outside in our yard. Wear sandals or comfortable shoes that are suitable for grass. For the guys- short sleeves are fine! For the gals- dresses or skirts or anything that will keep you cool is just great!

Question

What are the covid guidelines in Chatt?

Answer

Our city has lifted the mask mandate. There are still some businesses requiring it so it’s a good idea to have one handy just in case. Andy and I are both fully vaccinated and will not be masked but encourage anyone to wear what makes them comfortable!
