As we near closer to our 2021 date, we are thankful for everyone who has reached out to us! Our marriage day wasn't what we had planned, but it ended up being pretty wonderful. These last several months as Mr. and Mrs. have been a great time to build our relationship and grow stronger. Please help us keep our wedding safe by maintaining a distance and wearing your mask. Thank you!
Hi everyone. Deciding to postpone our wedding has been a roller-coaster of emotions and wasn't easy, but the safety of our loved ones is our top priority. We have made plans to still enjoy a very small "marriage day" on our original date with our immediate families. Then next year will be our vow renewal ceremony and reception. This is what felt right to us and we hope you'll still be able to celebrate our day when the time comes. Love you all!
A surprise "birthday party" was actually a surprise engagement party! My mom flew in for an additional surprise and I was a little bit suspicious, but everyone stayed cool. We showed up Andy's mom's house for the "birthday party" with corn casserole in hand and Andy and his family were in the back. Twinkle lights and a cactus were the little details that stood out even with all the feels happening. A little while later, our friends joined to celebrate!
It was actually the happy beginning to the both of us swiping right! And then I (Rachael) almost canceled our first date. Thankfully though, after many conversations back and forth, we met for dinner and talked for hours. We had three dates that first week and we both knew pretty quick that this was the real deal.
