Do I need to be vaccinated to attend the wedding weekend?

Answer

YES! Sorry, no exceptions here. Please bring a copy of your vaccine card as you will need it around town for indoor dining and events outside of the hotel.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional for the wedding. Keep in mind The Umstead enforces a business casual dress code in their restaurant if you happen to eat in house.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love all the little ones, we'd like to take this opportunity to give all of our guess the chance to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears. We politely and respectfully request no children. Please reach out to Quinn directly if you are in need of help finding childcare.

Will there be a hotel block?

Answer

Hotel blocks for both The Umstead and Embassy Suites have been arranged, please see the travel tab for details. To get the discounted rate at The Umstead, book by February 10th.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Umstead offers parking for the evening of the wedding however we suggest you order an Uber or Lyft so you can fully indulge in the open bar.

How do I dress Friday?

Answer

Brewery casual. Please don't worrying up about dressing up for this one. Jeans and a t-shirt will be just fine!

How do I get to the hotel?

Answer

Embassy Guests: free shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotel, call (919) 677-1840 when you arrive. Umstead Guests: Lyft, Uber or Taxi. If you are looking for a car service you can use EcoStyle (919 ) 447-4020, or you White Horse car (919) 782-5893.
