Garden attire - Dress to impress! (But not too much) If we’re lucky enough to have nice weather, the ceremony will be outdoors in the grass, so keep this in mind for shoes. Please no shorts or jeans.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be primarily an adults-only wedding, with the exception of the children of the bridal party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Fun fact: this is Andy’s favorite time of year in Wisconsin! Late May is typically very pleasant. If the weather is too cold or rainy, however, the ceremony and reception will be held inside. The barn has air conditioning and heat.
Both will be held at the Barn at Harvest Moon Pond. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. We shall dine and dance inside the barn, which has air conditioning and heat.
There will be beer, wine and appetizers as well as games until dinner time. Family of the bride and groom will take photos after the ceremony.
Please plan on arriving approximately a half hour before the ceremony, so that it can begin promptly at 4:00.
There is a very large parking lot for the barn.
Yes, the Barn at Harvest Moon Pond is wheelchair accessible.
Yes, we’d be happy for you to take and share photos of our special day. We ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony, however, in order for there to be few distractions and for our amazing photographer to get clear shots. Our photographer’s photos will be made available to all guests after the wedding. Hashtag to come!
Hazel, our sweet doggy, regretfully declined our invitation. She had prior engagements. She will be hosting her own celebrations at Waggin’ Tails Kennel.

The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond is about 20 minutes North of Madison. We will be providing a shuttle from one of the hotel blocks (details to come) to the ceremony and back from the reception to the hotel in the evening. Please note that the venue is in a rural location, and will be difficult to impossible to get a Lyft or Uber from the reception.
