Is your wedding kid-friendly?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, we want our wedding to be your night off! Our wedding will be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

How far is the hotel from the venue, and is there transportation?

Answer

If you are staying at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel or Holiday Inn Express, you will be within 2 miles of our venue. Transportation to and from The Grandview will be provided by our venue beginning 30 minutes prior to the start of our ceremony. If you are staying at any of the other hotels or an Airbnb in the area, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Taxi. If you do decide to drive, valet parking is provided for free.

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire is requested, not required. This includes cocktail dresses or gowns for the ladies, suits for the men. Feel free to wear what is most comfortable for you!

Can I bring a plus one?

We tried our best to accommodate our guests. Please refer to your invitation on whether or not you have "and guest" included. Please email us should you have any questions or concerns.

Does the outdoor ballroom have AC and heat?

What are the venues Covid-19 precautions?

Answer

The Grandview is following NY state requirements in regards to catered events. Proof of a negative test or proof of vaccination is required. PLEASE NOTE: we are kindly asking all guests to receive the vaccination AT LEAST one month prior to the wedding. We want to everyone to have the safest experience possible and to be respectful of our wishes.
