Places to See

The Wedding Website of Andres Rodriguez and Kailani DeCoito
Kauai is known as the Garden Island of Hawaii and for good reason! As the state’s fourth-largest island, it is one of the most beautiful places in America. Whether you want to relax or adventure, Kauai's got you covered! Here are some suggestions of our favorite places to see on the Island. We also recommend downloading the "Shaka Kauai" App to access self-guided (driving) audio tours.
Waimea Canyon

Waimea Canyon

West Side,

This 3,600-feet deep canyon is described as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” We recommend starting early to have plenty of time to get in all the hikes you'd like or drive the route and stop at lookouts before the afternoon clouds set in. You’ll be mesmerized by its scenic beauty.

Hanalei Town

Hanalei Town

North Shore,

Hanalei Bay is a two-mile stretch of beach with a gorgeous mountainous backdrop. The curved bay creates calm waters perfect for swimming and learning to surf. If you’re looking for a great place to take a walk, the views from Hanalei Pier are breathtaking. Also on the North Shore is "Tunnels Beach", which is perfect for snorkeling since the waters are shallow and there is a live reef.

Na Pali Coast

Na Pali Coast

North- West Side,

The Napali Coast is a truly surreal destination. Even as you look across the dramatic ridges, jungle foliage, and blue ocean waters, sometimes this magnificent natural wonder doesn’t seem real. Boat tours are one of the best ways to take in all of this beauty.

Kipu Ranch

Kipu Ranch

East Side,

Kipu Ranch owns over 3,000 acres of property on Kauai and offers unique ATV tours. This is an awesome way to take in the island’s inland scenery, while also partaking in a 4x4 adventure.

Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens

South Shore,

Kauai literally blooms with botanical gardens that showcase a variety of tropical plants. These gardens devote their resources to the study and conservation of plants, as well as making the world's plant species diversity known to the public. On the south shore, you can check out McBryde & Allerton Gardens, National Tropical Botanical Garden, or Moir Garden.

Poipu Beach

Poipu Beach

South Shore,

Poipu Beach, right in the town of Poipu, is one of Kauai’s most popular beaches both for its convenience and beauty. It has a range of amenities and facilities including picnic tables, lifeguards and showers. This is one of the best family beaches with a natural pool that’s great for children. Don't forget to pack your swim shoes, because there are some rocky areas that may be difficult on your feet.
