Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place outdoors at the marina, with the reception under a covered space overlooking the water. You’ll be able to enjoy the views without having to worry about the weather.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Grand Isle in March is usually beautiful with mild days in the upper 70s to low 80s, and plenty of sunshine and gentle gulf breezes. Since we’ll be celebrating by the marina, we recommend bringing a light layer for the evening.

Will there be parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be ample parking at Wake Side Marina.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating on a marina with a mix of wooden decks and cement, so please skip the stilettos or thin heels. Wedges, block heels, dressy sandals, or flats are perfect — comfortable and dance-friendly!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
