We're Getting Married!

In the Fall of 2024, Gianna was heading to Christopher Newport University to work as a Campus Ministry Fellow for the Diocese of Richmond, while Andy was beginning his second year as a FOCUS missionary at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). It just so happened that one of Gianna's college best friends, Paige, was also working for VT's Catholic Campus Ministry. After Paige arrived at Virginia Tech, Gianna couldn't stop hearing about this FOCUS missionary Paige had met that would be "perfect" for her. As the semester progressed, Paige mentioned to Andy that it could be fun for her to introduce him to some of her friends from Liberty. Meanwhile, Paige knew exactly which friend she wanted him to meet. Fast-forward to VT CCM's Christmas Party, and Paige drew Andy's name for their Secret Santa and immediately asked Gianna if she could include her phone number with Andy's gift. Gianna said yes, and after Andy opened his gift he called Gianna - while he was still at the party!! A few days later, Gianna and Andy officially met at the Diocese's Campus Ministry Meeting, where Paige pulled a string to get them seated at the same table. One week later, they went on their first date, and the rest is history! Gianna and Andy started dating long distance from opposite sides of Virginia and grew in love over hundreds of nightly FaceTime calls and many trips to see each other! We're looking forward to making a life together in Charlottesville and celebrating our wedding with all of our friends and family!
