Once upon a time, there was a sport called volleyball that both Andy and Arian played. Both played at Razzle's, where they met and played against each other. Fast forward a couple of months to indoor volleyball where both played at Mulberry's. The pair again would play against each other and sometimes sub for each other's teams. One evening, Arian subbed for Andy's team and stayed with the group to have a drink at a table. Lo and behold, all of their friends and teammates moved along to another table or departed, leaving Andy and Arian alone together, getting to know each other (thank you, friend... you know who you are). By the end of the evening, Andy and Arian planned for a group of people to go to Topgolf, or so she thought it would be a group outing. Well, only Arian and Andy went... it was just the two of them, their "first date"!

After their first date, the pair continued to hang out and get to know each other, all the while just being happy. For the next year and a half, the couple continued playing together and against each other, always cheering each other on. They also enjoyed countless trips to sporting events (Go Tribe!), eating good food, drinking good beer, making lots of new drinks, and of course, enjoying bourbon. A fluffy little pup named Phoebe joined the picture and made their house her home too. Andy popped the question on November 23, 2024, at Western Reserve Distillery. Arian, again, was duped into thinking they were going to the distillery for Andy's birthday and a tasting class for some great barrel-proof bourbons. After the class ended and the other patrons left, Andy got down on one knee to pop the question. And of course... SHE SAID YES!!!!

Since Andy popped the question, the couple has been living in Lakewood, enjoying trips with Phoebe to different restaurants they can walk to near their home. They continue to play volleyball indoors and outdoors. The couple loves to support their Cleveland teams and the reigning champs, Ohio State! (Unless they are playing Mizzou, sorry Andy). Andy and Arian are super excited for this next part of their journey... wedding planning! And even more, they are so pumped to say I DO and celebrate with those they love.
