Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Ladies may wear fancy cocktail dresses or floor-length gowns. Gentlemen will want to wear dark suits or tuxedos.

Do you recommend any hotels?

Answer

We have a guest room block at the University Club of Chicago (see the “Travel” tab for details). Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We recommend that you take an Uber or cab to the ceremony and reception. If you decide to drive, there is parking available at the church next to the Chicago Library and Casey Hall. Valet parking will be available for the reception at the University Club.
