Downtown Portsmouth
Downtown Portsmouth is charming town alongside the Piscataqua River, where you can enjoy a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and picturesque views. Some Recommendations: Prescott Park - Enjoy a walk through Prescott Park, which offers beautiful gardens and docks alongside the river. Strawberry Banke - Take a historical tour or check out their events page on their website to see if there is a movie, play or concert happening in the park!
North Conway
North Conway is our favorite place to go in the summer! It is about a two hour drive to spectacular mountain views, lakes, rivers, shopping and restaurants. Some recommendations: - Drive or walk up Cathedral ledge - Float down the Saco River - Take a dip in Chocorua lake - Enjoy some delicious food and drinks at Hobbs Tavern in Tamworth, NH - Take a ride through the mountains on the Cog Railway - If you have kids, Story Land is an amusement park that has shows, dining, characters, rides and play areas.
Beaches
We know our beaches aren't like Florida, but we still love them! If you're feeling a beach day check out our favorite spots! Jenness Beach, Rye, NH - Grab a smoothie and snack at Summer Sessions and hit the beach! Hampton Beach, Hampton NH - Popular beach resort known for its lively boardwalk, lined with souvenir shops, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, and arcades. Plum Island, Newburyport MA - This one is a little farther away, but it is a beautiful New England barrier island located alongside a wildlife refuge.
