"Do you know what the homework is for class?" Tara typed on Facebook Messenger to the (cute) boy in her History of Education Class at Seattle Pacific University. Andrew responded diligently, with a lot of detail unassumingly attempting to help out his classmate. These weekly exchanges would go on for the next four and a half months until October when Andrew FINALLY asked Tara to get a beer after class. The two shared a pitcher at the Nickerson Street Pub for two hours and instantly connected. The 3+ years that followed were filled with laughter, support, and patience (from Andrew). We can't wait to spend the rest of forever together.

During their Christmas Break these two teachers celebrated with a weekend at Whidbey. Andrew told Tara they were going wine tasting with their friends and it was an easy sell. As they walked across the Northey Cabin's deck, Andrew turned and got in engagement position. Tara doesn't remember the rest due to excitement but there is photo evidence that she leaped into the air and cried YES! Soon their family and friends started flooding out of the cabin next door. Andrew pulled off the most magical day and it was the perfect start for a couple who loves the people in their lives more than anything!
