Maid of Honor
Madison and Catherine met on the first day of 6th grade in Mrs. Greer's homeroom donning their cool, hip Aeropostale shirts and plaid bermuda shorts. What started as late night sleepovers with Cheez Doodles and Yoohoos and watching dance videos on Youtube for hours turned into a lifelong friendship. As the girls both headed to UNC, they promised to each other that they would make new friends and not join the same sorority. Long story short, the "Mads and Cat" duo continued on in their college years and they ended up rooming together in the Pi Phi house for two years. Mads and Cat have been side by side through it all!
Best Man
The older, yet less successful and worse looking Rector son is 31 years of age. Kaleb first met Bj on a warm summer morning at the local hospital where Kaleb was dropped off at. From there, a loving yet sometimes egregious relationship began to bloom. From a young age, Kaleb knew he wanted to be the exact opposite of whatever that man his parents called his brother was, but he was forced to follow in his very small footsteps for most of his childhood. As they grew in years so did their friendship. What was once a heated, one-sided rivalry (mostly on Bj's part) began to turn into a heartfelt appreciation for both their similarities and their differences. Kaleb and Bj began to see life from each other's perspective (Bj's perspective is approximately 3 inches taller unfortunately). In all seriousness, Bj has been a best friend, a big brother, a confidant, and a person to look up to for all of Kaleb's life. Kaleb is so proud that Bj finally gave up his dream of becoming a professional fortnite gamer and became a wonderful husband that gives Kaleb a great example to follow, as does the rest of the Rector family.
Bridesmaid
Madison and Bethany met in their first ever dance class at just two years old! They quickly became best friends and spent all of their childhood together dancing, playing with American Girl dolls, and running away from Bethany's brothers. Bethany and Madison were side by side through all of their childhood, whether it be choreographing dances, going on family vacations together, or going to countless concerts. Our parents joked that if you took Madison's book smarts and Bethany's common sense, you could create the perfect person!
Groomsman
Noah Hartley is a semi professional artist and a full time teacher who loves shaping the minds of young hearts. He and Kaleb met sometime in middle school at Lucas Santiago's house when Kaleb was dipping fries into his belly button where some chili had previously fallen. Against his best judgment, when they later rekindled their friendship in college, things picked back up where they left off (minus the chili in the belly button). The rest is history.
Bridesmaid
Madison and Faith met through dance class and Faith was originally introduced as "Bethany's cousin." Through the years, Madison and Faith grew a friendship all of their own and have enjoyed growing up together dancing and bonding over all things purple, Disney, and Dr. Pepper. Faith and Madison have always enjoyed being each other's dance partners at Merlefest, listening to Scythian and raiding the food tent for fried oreos together. You can always count on Faith to be your hype girl who lifts you up in any situation.
Groomsman
Matt Hunsinger is an extremely eligible bachelor who stands at a luxurious 5 foot 8 inches (2 inches above the average height for males in the world). Kaleb and Matt first met in high school and quickly became best friends. The two have shared many rounds on the golf course filled with some great times, but mostly bad ones that make you question why you even play golf in the first place. Matt has been a constant presence in Kaleb's life for over 14 years and will forever be a back 9 mulligan.
Bridesmaid
After years of hearing Kimmie and Faith refer to their friend Charity, Madison and Charity's friendship blossomed when they cheered together for the first time in high school. What started as late night sleepovers and stunting in the backyard quickly became a tight bond. Charity became a mom in the past year and it has been so fun to add a new gal pal to the fabulous five and watch Charity shine as a mother. Madison is excited to have Charity as a bridesmaid as she got to stand beside her when she got married!
Groomsman
Sam Postell is a constant reminder in everyone's life that knows him to enjoy the little things and not sweat the small stuff (no, that is not a dig at his height). Sam met Kaleb in their freshman year of high school and they soon became best friends. Sam, also a member of the back 9 mulligans, has been alongside both Kaleb and Matt for the majority of their golf escapades and has always brought a light into every room he enters.
Bridesmaid
Madison and Kimmie met way back in their first few years of dancing competitively. From long practices, lots of quick changes and countless car rides to dance, their friendship grew and grew. As they've gotten older, they've been able to cheer each other on during tough school years and Madison loves having a friend to psychoanalyze anything and everything. Kimmie is always there for a throwback jam session and will have a Coke on standby at any event!
Groomsman
Lucas Santiago is arguably one of Kaleb's oldest friends, as the two of them met in 5th grade after Kaleb successfully completed a coux within their elementary school friends. From their first interaction, they both knew the other would be along for the ride for good. From high school to college the two continued to grow in their friendship that mostly consisted of sending each other weird music that no one else would like and talking about it for 45 minutes after. Lucas became a father this year and has continued to show the constant friendship and anchoring spirit that drew the two together so many years ago.
