Kenzie and Kara met during college at MVNU. Kenzie trained Kara for her job in admissions and the rest is history! They roomed together since sophomore year, had many late night chats and McDonald's runs, some tears but so many more laughs, all creating a lasting friendship. Kara knew she wanted no one else (excluding Ethan of course) standing right beside her for this day.
Maggie
Bridesmaid
Maggie was Kara's Resident Director of Pioneer Hall at MVNU her freshman year. After Kara moved on from Pio, Maggie remained a mentor and friend, meeting one-on-one with Kara every week. They have walked alongside one another through a lot of life events since then, and Kara is thrilled to have Maggie stand beside her for this one!
Danielle
Bridesmaid
Once again, Kara met this lasting friend at MVNU! While they did not live in Pioneer Hall at the same time, it is still ultimately what brought them together through mutual friends. Danielle and Kara ironically became closer after each had graduated MVNU, despite being across state lines. Danielle has been walking with Kara through her relationship with Ethan from afar, and Kara is so glad to have her share in this day!
Thomas
Bridesman
This is Kara's oldest and most lasting friendship so far - since kindergarten! Thomas and Kara have always been intentional with staying involved in each other's lives, even after going off to different colleges in different towns. From summer day care and field trips, to buying houses and getting married, Kara is so grateful Thomas can now share in this new memory.
Jake McComas
Best Man
Ethan and Jake met in middle school and since then, Jake has remained one of Ethan's closest friends. They shared many school nights playing video games, late nights watching movies and going on food runs. Ethan is actually standing by Jake's side for his own wedding in October, and Ethan is so glad to have Jake do the same for him.
Caleb
Groomsman
Ethan met Caleb during their freshman year of high school, instantly becoming part of the friend group. Caleb was also a part of the video game playing, movie watching, and late night food runs . Ethan couldn't imagine Caleb not being a part of this most important day too!
Jake Trout
Groomsman
Ethan and Jake, or Trout as he is called, have known each other since elementary school, but really became closer during high school. Their friendship grew even more after high school because of the mutual friends they shared. Ethan is so glad Trout will be sharing in this day!
Max
Groomsman
Max and Ethan met not long after he and Kara began dating. Their passion for fitness and exercising led to a fast friendship, becoming training partners for Ethan's first Crossfit competition. Max's wife Alli is actually the wedding photographer! Kara and Ethan have gotten to know them both and are grateful to have them be a part of the wedding.
Indie
Flower Girl
This is Maggie's amazing daughter. Aunt Kara has been able to watch Indie grow from the time she was born to the sprouting five year old she is now. Kara can't wait to have Indie precede her down the aisle with her infectious smile!
