Loren & Ross

Ross and Loren met in the summer of 2017 through a mutual friend and spent time together before returning to college—Ross at Arizona State University and Loren at St. Lawrence University. Their relationship grew, and after graduation, Loren moved to SLC in July 2018 for a job, having only visited once for an interview.

After a few years of long-distance, Loren convinced Ross to move to SLC. It only took buying a house and putting down a deposit for a puppy to seal the deal (mostly the puppy). As Loren and Ross's love story unfolded, they welcomed their dog Manning, skied throughout the Mountain West, explored national parks, and never passed up a chance to go back East. 

After months of planning, Ross proposed to Loren in Jackson, WY, surprising her with a proposal under the antler arch! Jackson has been a favorite destination, as they've skied there together for six years. Their families celebrated, and Loren was stunned when her mom flew in to surprise them at the Mangy Moose.
