We both were in Choraliers (an all female choral group) together at Miami University and ended up having so much more in common then just music. Aly and I get to talk about yoga, animals (she has a horse, cats, dogs, and even a ferret), kids we teach, and even our lovable yet sometimes frustrating significant others. During our time in college, we got the privilege to travel to Ireland and Scotland through Choraliers. Aly kicked off our friendship with her amiable personality during the trip and we have been friends since. After college, we both stayed in the Cincinnati area which allowed us to still get together. We were able to attend some yoga classes together and have couple date nights. Aly is a new mom, a teacher, as well as a delightful and sincere friend to all who know her.

We both worked in intramural sports together at Miami University which is how we got to become friends. Kelly and I's friendship came very easily from our mutual likes and dislikes in everything from style to people. In college, Kelly's cheerful and confident personality led all our co-workers to be friends with her which started our friendship as well. We went to games, parties, and just hung out a lot during our time at Miami. After college, Kelly moved back to her hometown near Akron but we still keep in touch (specially over stupid and funny things people do). Kelly is a wonderful teacher who is exuberant in every way.

Laurie Saner

Laurie and I have known each other since BEFORE PRESCHOOL! Not only were we neighbors but best friends since the start. We played outside all summer when we were little, went to the same schools growing up, and even get together every now and then when I'm up in Ashland. Laurie and I's friendship have lasted nearly our entire lives. When we were little, Laurie's adventurous and enthusiastic personality helped led us into all kinds of mischief. We made up our own games, explored our tiny neighborhood, and played tricks on our siblings. After graduating, Laurie stayed in Ashland with her significant other but we still keep in touch whenever we can. Laurie is such a positive and imaginative person. I am so lucky to have her as a friend for so many years.

Zach is my cousin, friend and fraternity brother. We spent some of the best years of our lives at Miami University together. Zach decided to come to Miami University after staying with me for a weekend in high school. He had such a great time that he decided to attend the school and join the fraternity. Our relationship extends past family into a brotherhood of men, and I know I can always count on him to be there for me. Zach works at a law firm in the DC area.

Wes and I met while I was pledging the fraternity. Wes' outward and easy going attitude made us fast friends. We lived together our senior year and spent a lot of time trying to beat our roommates at super smash brothers. Wes is a teacher in the Columbus area.

Matt is my cousin. We spent quite a few summers together when we were growing up going to the zoo or hanging out at the pool. Although, we see don't see each other as frequently now we pick up just like the good old days.

Tyler is Andrew's brother. I spent the majority of my life thinking that I would remain an only child, but I was blessed to have this little dude come into my life. He is a much cooler, smaller version of myself. We enjoy playing video games together, fishing, and shooting.
