Just like most *normal* people do today ... we met on an Internet-dating site! Robyn lived in Maui; Andrew in Sonoma County. After a couple of phone calls, we decided to cut to the chase. Valentine's Day was fast approaching, so we booked Robyn a flight and a few days later met in person at the luggage carousel of the San Francisco airport. During our first week together, the sparks ignited something special. And, less than two months later, Robyn had left her island paradise and moved to N. California so the courting could continue in earnest. We're still each other's Valentines.

After three years of courtship, it came time to seal the deal. Robyn had no idea that Andrew had carefully planned both the time and place of the marriage proposal. It was also during Valentine's on a trip through South East Asia. They were visiting the magnificent Temple of the Reclining Buddha in Bangkok, when Andrew got down on one knee. Robyn -- along with the other temple visitors nearby -- was completely surprised ... but with the Buddha as witness, how could she refuse?
