Airports

The closest airport is Redding Municipal (RDD), a small regional airport ~2 hours away by car. Car rental service on site. Sacramento International (SMF) is ~4 hours away by car. Rogue Valley International Medford Airport (MFR) in Oregon is ~3 hours away by car. California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport (ACV) is a small regional airport ~3hrs away by car. Find a Carpool Buddy!

We started a Google Doc which you can fill out if you are flying and need a ride/want to split the cost of a rental car, or if you are driving and can offer a ride. Several guests will be passing through Sacramento, Redding and Humboldt by car. With a bit of coordination, hopefully we can band together to make this part of the trip less costly for all. Turo

People rent out their personal cars on Turo, which may be more affordable than large car rental companies. I (Carly) had really good experiences renting cars on Turo when I lived in San Francisco.

Travel Note

Ridesharing & Public Transit

There is no public transit to get you from the airport to Trinity County. Lyft, Uber and ol' fashioned taxicabs don't exist here, so you will have to drive to & from the wedding venue, on mountain roads. Please keep this in mind when consuming alcohol.

Please note that Coffee Creek is unincorporated. Officially, it's part of the town called Trinity Center, so use this term for your internet searches. If you are unsure if lodging is in a good location, feel free to ask us!
