Is there a welcome party?

The welcome event at RJ's is simply an opportunity to get our wedding parties, family, and out of town guests together. It is a come and go event and everyone is welcome! We have reserved the den at RJ's from 7:00pm-10:00pm on Friday May 23rd.

What is the dress code?
Answer
All black, black tie attire. Get creative! Feathers, sparkles, satin, velvet, top hats, hair flowers, capes, fringe! Think “if the MET Gala theme was Phantom of the Opera, but make it all black”

Yes! We’ve worked hard to develop a certain aesthetic for our wedding and we’d love for you to help us achieve this important detail!

Do I have to wear a tuxedo?
Answer
Preferred, but an all black suit is also great!

Can I wear a white shirt with my black suit/tux?

Do I have a plus one?
Answer
Yes! Your invitation should list your significant other or “guest”. They will also be listed when you RSVP on the website. At that time, you should be able to list your guest’s name. Please, please, please also make your plus one aware of the dress code!

Can I bring my children?

We've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening.

Will there be food?

Yes! There will be light bites, a charcuterie board, pie, and fancy popsicles!

Will there be non-alcoholic options too?

Yes! We will be providing mocktail options, N/A beers, and fizzy water!

Are you doing a send off/grand exit?

Yes! Please stick around for our send off. We’d love to see all your faces on our way out!

Yes! If you’re not ready to end your evening, join us at RJ’s Supperclub just down the street!

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes! There is public street parking surrounding the Civic Center and since our wedding is on a Sunday, OKC street parking is free.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will be completely indoors. There will be a brief outdoor venture after the ceremony and grand exit will be outdoors.

Can I post photos during the reception?
Answer
Yes, but please keep bride and groom photos to yourself until the reception begins!

Where’s the registry?
Answer
We’ve opted for a honeymoon fund instead of a traditional wedding registry. You can find the link under the registry tab on this website!
Question
May I bring cash to contribute to the honeymoon fund?
Answer
Yes! We will have a card box at the ceremony!
