FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we would love to have your little ones, we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding entourage at our reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our goal is to keep our very special day as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure you have enough time to park your car and everyone is seated on time.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking space at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Parking spaces for the reception at Allure are located anywhere around the building. We suggest carpooling as it will be a busy Saturday night and easier to find a park.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight home and have a rest and be at the reception by 4pm, where we will be serving cheese and charcuterie board and beverages during a cocktail hour followed by buffet dinner.

Question

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Wheelchair access for the church is located at the right side of the church. For the reception, it is through the back. There will be signs available.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, spas and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.
